Wolf Society Profile

The Wolf Society Project was created in September 2022 to use visual art NFT's with a mission to revitalize the Earth's natural carbon sink, absorbing CO2 and safeguarding our planet. By bringing visual artists and the public together, the idea of the #ArtImpact movement was born.

After researching the way conservation organizations work, we realized that the whole system of giving is based on the donor's good feeling and their ‘karma’ for having done something good. We knew that we had to approach the whole thing differently. That's why we came up with the idea that donors should be rewarded for their kindness. So we brought the whole concept to life with the #GiveAndGetRewarded element.

The concept was simple. Reaching out to artists to join the #ArtImpact movement by creating and providing artwork. We then promoted this artwork and tried to get donors, who in return for their donation received the NFT artwork and other utilities that could be technically linked to the NFT.

After several months of running the project, we realized that the concept had too many limitations:

  • We had to recruit specific artists who had to create NFTs – no open environment for everyone;

  • Limiting it to a very small number of NFTs that are only offered through the Wolf Society;

  • Targeting only one specific problem - the environment;

  • Inability of the buyers to choose which non-profit project they want to support;

  • The inability for the buyer or artist to set the price of the NFT and the amount of the share of the NFT sale that will be automatically transferred to the non-profit of their choice;

  • Limited rewards and utilities within the #GiveAndGetRewarded element.

A MAJOR SHIFT IN THE CONCEPT OF THE WOLF SOCIETY

If we want NFT technology to be widely used for good, we need to create an environment that is open to everyone and super easy to use for all participants involved. Without limits.

  • An environment in which every NFT can become a medium for giving and spreading goodness.

  • An environment where the platform does not decide how much and where donations will be given.

  • An environment where the participants themselves decide.

  • An environment where everyone is free to choose the form of their reward for their contribution.

  • An environment that is beneficial for all.

  • An environment that is transparent.

  • An environment and a system that is accessible to the masses at any time.

That is why the GOOD MARKETPLACE is being developed.
